This house was the result of an intensive three year process that focussed on the specification of a rich combination of  furniture and art to our client’s new home. We paired up with interior designer Angela Harry, who provided us with a wonderful canvas in which to add an injection of highly personal and refined styling for a client with a sophisticated palette. Our client’s bent towards understated and classic pieces shifted over the course of the studio’s engagement and we were able to guide her on numerous high impact pieces and punchy textiles that collectively bring a wow factor to each space.
The house is interconnected via a glass runway, which links the pavilions as well as the two levels, and we leveraged the opportunity to create both open and moody spaces. The his / hers study has a subterranean mood, yet feels connected by the stepped garden, designed by Nathan Burkett Landscape Architecture. The house is also built around a central courtyard, which we extended by placing outdoor benches from Draga and Aurel.
Key pieces like the Grand Dining Table by Daniel Barbera and a series of light fittings by Christopher Boots add sophisticated elements to the main living spaces and custom rugs (including a wall mounted hanging by Moses and Nedal), reference the client’s Persian heritage and family connection to the timeless art of rug-making.

“We could have never have imagined the value a stylist such as Simone could have bought to the process. The way she and he team have  overlayed the interiors with unique pieces – that seem to effortlessly combine class and clash is fabulous. We feel like we have been listened to,  pushed just a little bit out of our comfort zone and supported all the way through the journey – long after the paint had dried”.
